VEL'NISSH! (Welcome!) My name is Oy'Nissh GlorynTine GranDiece and I am a Montegonian Jamesy from the beautiful island of Jamaica. I am a chef living in Scotland, UK. I am the creator of Jamaican Oy'nissh food and language (constructed), and this channel serves as a community space to share the evolution of both. Here, you will be learning about new words that evolved from the food and language. Oy'Nissh is more about innovation in health promotion here in Scotland by using wild seasonal produce, along with seasonal food from the supermarket, to inspire the population to eat more fruit and vegetables. You will see vlogs about foraging, cooking, walking as a means of improving fitness, and some songs I used as inspiration when I go out and about. Also to bear in mind is the development of the writing system inspired by foraging and learning from the Scottish environment. I will seek to write poems and songs about food in Oy'Nissh Language along with food art.
