Folk outfit Acorns & Armchairs is the husband-wife duo of Michael and Lydia Summerville-Dueck from Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. Both classically-trained musicians, they enjoy performing everything from opera to jazz to country to folk (with the odd Broadway musical number thrown in for good measure). As Acorns & Armchairs these two musicians find an outlet to perform in both sacred and secular venues with a variety of repertoire that comfortably places them on a festival stage, in a church, or in your living room! They seek to bring joy and rest to the soul through their music!
