Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a congregation of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Ocala, Florida. We are Christ-centered, Bible-based, confessional, and liturgical. We proclaim God's timeless Law in all its sternness and God's ever-fresh Gospel in all its sweetness, never compromising either. We confess the Nicene Creed which states there is "one holy Christian and apostolic Church." We delight in finding common ground with other Christian traditions where we can. But sadly, we recognize churches teach vastly different doctrines and morals, so we do not hesitate to draw lines where we must. Ultimately, we proclaim that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ secures forgiveness and eternal life for all who hold fast to this preached word and abide in Jesus--his love and his commandments (see 1 Cor. 15:1-5; John 15:1-11). "[Christ] we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ" (Col. 1:28).
