The pursuit of a gritty and groove laden sound, a thoroughly hard driving, visceral brand of music is the foundation upon which The Konspiracy is built. Straight forward and straight ahead approaches to writing and performing high energy hard rock have always been cornerstones of the band while also infusing influences from old school blues to vintage rock as well as punk, grunge and an array of heavy metal genres into the sound. It’s all about high octane riffs, raw brooding melodies, rhythms from downright swampy to thoroughly blistering and the exploration of ever wider ranges of textures and dynamics. And just as bassist / vocalist Kris Engel and drummer / vocalist Charlie Chaboyer remain committed to this, steadfastly as ever, guitarist Umut strives to match that very same intensity and provide his own fiery style of playing to both complement it and enhance it.
