We will be traveling east along 45 degrees north exploring what lies along it's path including the cities and towns that touch it. This journey will take us through Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. But the 45th also goes through the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
From the Pacific ocean the line makes landfall in Oregon cutting across and through the state capital. Blazing across Idaho and the Rocky Mountains, it travels east to divide Montana and Wyoming. Through the northern end of the Great Plains it passes through Wisconsin and Minnesota and cutting through it's capital.
From Michigan east, the St. Lawrence and Connecticut rivers mark the border between Canada and the United States. Specifically Quebec in Canada and the states of New York and Vermont. Finishing the first leg of the northern hemisphere travels in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
