We (PointeImages) are back in the Valley. We encountered snow covered roads on Nov. 29. Last evening at about 7:30 pm we travel north from Parsons on US 219 to Thomas and then WV-32 and then to the Valley. This trip took about an hour due to the snow covered roads. We saw NO highway road maintenance trucks and not sure why. ?? This channel is to provide information regarding activities such as skiing, snow boarding, sledding, hiking, bicycling and other activities on the Mountain Top and Canaan Valley (Eastern Tucker County WV). Pam began skiing in the Valley in 1957 at Cabin Mountain (which some people now call Driftland) and took lessons from one of the members of the Washington Ski Club who started the ski area.
