Don't underestimate the wall of sound that Minneapolis two-piece band ExactlyNo puts out, along with their captivating hooks and high-energy live show. Since 2016, Ted Anderson and Nick Larsen have been delivering riff-heavy rock, thunderous drums, and memorable melodies with their own brand of rock.
The band found their songwriting stride prior to entering the studio with an abundance of songs and ideas, allowing for additional experimentation during the record-making process, once again with Soul Asylum bassist Jeremy Tappero producing and mixing the album. Their longtime mastering engineer Bruce Templeton (Hey Mercedes, Dillinger Four) spoke on the new record, "The record’s clear artistic vision, detailed production, and immediately engaging songs represent a major milestone for the band.”
ExactlyNo's third full-length album 2SAD/2SERIOUS is set to release in 2026 via Cardinal Sun Records.
