Electric Puma is the new incarnation of the artist Martinez — a freer, more instinctive and electric identity. Based in Geneva, she shapes her music herself, composing, arranging, recording and mixing at home, occasionally joined by long-time collaborators Joe Baamil, Zep and Mark Daumail (Cocoon).
Her universe blends indie pop, modern folk, organic textures and ’80s-inspired synths, creating a crepuscular, ever-shifting atmosphere.
Formerly known as Martinez, she released several albums and the EP Off The Shore with Yvan Bing, which led Robert Smith (The Cure) to invite them to the Meltdown Festival in London as one of his favorite discoveries. She later released The Road, co-produced with Joe Baamil.
Electric Puma marks a new stage: direct, instinctive music influenced by Prince, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, and contemporary indie pop — a signature where organic warmth meets bright electronic energy.
