At the beginning of the 21st century I was convinced that it could be possible for me to harness the world wide web to provide learning beyond my own classroom. I knew that I would be able to share the technologies, courses and learning processes being developed in that space and let others benefit. Smart Skool was an interactive music educational website that was created between 2005 and 2010 with over 3,000 hours of development. It gave learners access to thousands of graded independent learning resources that gave information and feedback in a fun and engaging way. The Virtual Music Room and other resources were provided free to all schools worldwide with no external advertising.
