Welcome to SARAHTIM Music Publishing! I compose music for the simple joy of it. The name "SARAHTIM" is a combination of the names of my daughter, Sarah, and my son, Timothy. A few years ago, my good friends and colleagues from California High School—Doug Nordquist, Ben Murillo, and David Betancourt from Cerritos College—encouraged me to make my compositions available to those interested in playing or listening to them. SARAHTIM Music Publishing is a small, one-person venture. I handle all aspects of the process, from composing and preparing the music to sharing it on the website for anyone interested. My formal studies were with composers Philip Westin at Cerritos College, Dr. W. Francis McBeth at Ouachita Baptist University, and Dr. Byong Kon Kim at California State University, Los Angeles.
