My name is Dean and my goal is to be an independent watchmaker, to make a watch completely by hand. I will share with you the knowledge that I get on my journey to my goals. The contents will include watchmaker lathe videos, watch repairs, and watchmaking tool discussions. I hope to include general machine shop videos as I will need to make specialized machine tools, and watch cases. I am currently in the process of making my first watch by modifying an existing Swiss made ETA 6498 movement. I want to slowly expand on my watchmaking skills to eventually completely make all the watch components by hand or using manual machines. I hope you enjoy this journey should you choose to join.
