Syncopated City was born from unified intent aimed at proposing original music composed by Irene Iris Salis and Stefano Casti, in collaboration with external musicians. The sonic landscape gravitates around a mix of traditional instruments, bass, double bass, guitar, synth, keyboards, drums and voice, and an articulated electronic set up. The basic idea is to give ample space to expressive freedom solely guided by the creativity and harmony of the moment, while relying on everyone's solid technical and mutual listening skills, and leveraging the enormous legacy left by the music of great artists, which is a source of continuous inspiration.
