The Entanglement Research Lab at the School of Arts and Humanities, Royal College of Art (RCA), London, UK is dedicated to a rigorous and vital engagement with the strange – sometimes dangerous, sometimes elegant, often nondescript – multi-dimensional fabrics of our contemporary world. For the research artist-philosopher-scientists-curios that comprise this lab, Entanglement shape-shifts around the question(s) of ‘method’, and in particular the question(s) of ‘how’ (and why) an arts-led approach to our digitally saturated, multi-dimensional, curved-time environment is paramount. Over the year, we have addressed artificial and distributed intelligence(s), and the burning, age-old question: what does it mean to be ‘human’ (and what can our humanity become).
