First things first, its not the vegetable. After pondering over some of the most idiosyncratic names ever known to mankind, the band settled on one of them anyway. That said, The Beatroute is a result of some clever thinking and quirky wordplay. The plan was never to be too profound with the name, but these things happen. Formed in November 2010, The Beatroute is a five member band based in Mumbai with all its members spread across the gigantic city.
