Hello, welcome to The 1995 Project. What is The 1995 Project, you may ask? Everyone has their favorite year in film. Some will say that 1982 is the best year for film while others may say 1989, 1999, or 2008. All of these years are great, but my favorite year in film is 1995. Why 1995? Have you seen the films that were released that year? You have Se7en, Strange Days, Johnny Mneumonic, Tank Girl, Lord of Illusions, Tough and Deadly, Congo, and so on. There were a ton of great films released in 1995, so I wanted to start a thing that centers on these films. I want to present my takes on all of the films released in 1995 while giving context as to when the film was released. We will look at the box office take of each film, its soundtrack, and the people and studios who worked on the film.
