Standard Issue Citizen has been leaving its mark across the northeast and midwest US since 2007. Originally a project of frontman Tim Mizerak, the band has since grown to become a full-fledged act. They have shared the stage with many great industrial acts including Slick Idiot, Mankind Is Obsolete, echostream, Espermachine, Doomsday Virus, Streak and more! They have also done remixes for artists such as Blind With Rain. Their first CD, Your Opinion Is Forfeit, was released in December 2010. It features a collection of the band's early works and was mixed by Isaac Glendening of Cesium_137. It was soon followed by the free SICfuck EP in 2011. In 2012, the band embarked on their first tour of both the northeast and midwest regions of the United States released a new single "Superhero" featuring remixes from numerous rising talents in the industrial scene.
