Prince Tapembera is a 14 year old boy who is extremely talented in indigenous African Musical Arts. He plays and sings along the Zimbabwean traditional instruments Mbira and Marimba. He has performed in various national music festivals and competitions where he has received quite a number of awards in the area of indigenous African Musical Arts. He started performing when he was 6 years old. He was trained and mentored by his father, Badge Tapembera. The father has extensively travelled internationally to countries such as Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Uzbekistan and South Africa performing, teaching and giving workshops in indigenous African musical arts such as traditional dances, marimba, mbira and djembes. Due to the above mentioned strong indigenous African musical arts background and experience, he has managed to contribute a great deal of cultural expertise to the good reputation of the country.He can also play western instruments such as the the drums and the trombone!
