Dark Weirdness is the official band and music project of the Weird Darkness podcast, hosted by Darren Marlar. This is not meant to mislead anyone - it's simply a way for me to be creative with music again, something I had to walk away from 25-years ago and have greatly missed. Blending pop-punk energy with dark humor, horror themes, and a touch of existential dread, Dark Weirdness creates songs inspired by the strange, the unsettling, and the stories that linger after the lights go out. Most tracks are directly connected to episodes of Weird Darkness — serving as companion pieces, themes, or musical extensions of the podcast’s stories — while others explore original ideas, satire, and standalone concepts that don’t fit neatly into any single episode. If it’s weird, dark, ironic, or just a little uncomfortable, it probably belongs here.
