Body People is a Birmingham-born DJ collective, radio show, podcast and event brand rooted in house, soul, disco and underground club culture. Formerly known as Uber in the early 2000s, until a certain taxi company spoilt the fun — Body People has grown into a wider platform for music that moves. Alongside the original Body People Podcast, we now host The Body People Show on Vocal Booth Radio, featuring DJ mixes, guest selections, new music, classic sounds and radio shows from across the scene. Over the years, Body People has welcomed guests including Mad Mats, Jimpster, Andre Lodemann, Atjazz, Karizma, Franck Roger, Thatmanmonkz, Craig Smith, Ricky Reid, Phil Asher, Andy Ward and many more. Based in the West Midlands, Body People continues to build its community online, on air and on the dancefloor — with more events planned in the coming months. Expect music that moves.
