An oceanfront home in the wilderness at the North end of the Sunshine Coast in BC, Canada. The location is boat access, or float plane, only. The nearest dock is 15 minutes away which connects to Highway 101. Nearest community is Klah ah men (Lund) and nearest city is Powell River, all within the qathet Regional District; traditional home of the Tla'amin Nation. The cabin is actually on the mainland but so remote that no roads reach it. We are part of the Malaspina Estates, encompassing 180 acres on Gifford Peninsula. Most of the peninsula is within the provincial Desolation Sound Marine Park. Powell River is located North of Vancouver, connected by road and ferry service or by air. Home life is low key rustic. The cabin is two bedroom with two bathrooms. It is completely off-grid. I have a solar power system with generator back-up. Water is shallow well sourced.
