My real Treasure Hunting career began when I was 11 years old back in 1965, I was walking home from school taking a short cut through the Stock Yards in Calgary Alberta. As I was walking along I saw a 20 dollar bill and then another and another, by the time I reached the end of old dirty road I had $780.00 stuffed in my pants pocket. I hurried home thinking and stopped off at the little store on the way and bought some candy. when I got home mom asked where I got the money to buy the candy so I finally told her the truth. We were very poor at the time and she could have used the money to feed us 7 kids but she didn't she thought the person that lost it might need it more . She made me call the police and report it but I got it back after 90 days, from then on I was HOOKED on treasure hunting .
