Inspired by the teachings of Phyllis Young, George Neikrug, and Evan Tonsing, Dr. Benjamin Whitcomb’s expertise focuses on practicing and playing of string instruments, cello fingerings, string chords, and Popper etudes. As a Professor of Cello and Music Theory at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, he creates a nurturing and supportive environment in his cello studio, tailors his approach to the student, and guides students to reach their full potential as a cellist.
