Il progetto Q2 Visual ("quei 2 vj" Alessio Mangiavacchi e Irene Biga) nasce nel 2008 dalla passione per la visual art e per il vjing. Il live set dei Q2 è caratterizzato da animazioni 2D, motion graphic, mapping, giochi di geometrie e dalla continua ricerca e sperimentazione di nuove strutture e materiali, il tutto gestito tramite l'utilizzo di software progettati per video mixing e compositing. In 2008 Irene Biga and Alessio Mangiavacchi, motivated from the passion into visual art, create Q2 Visual. A Q2 Visual live vj-ing set is defined with 2D animations and motion graphics; they shape geometrical figures originally designed through the ultimate video mixing and compositing softwares. The variety of their performances is also based on the steady trial of different surfaces for projections.
