Kynren - An Epic Tale of England
The live action night show takes place in Bishop Auckland, County Durham Saturday nights from 27th July - 14th September 2024. Each show begins at sunset and ends in starlight.
Prepare to be spellbound by the outdoor theatre spectacular as Kynren immerses you in the telling of a 2,000 year tale: the history of England. Join Arthur the son of a mining family, on his spellbinding journey and watch legends come to life!
Performed on a 7.5 acre stage – the scale of five football pitches, a volunteer cast and crew of 1000, magnificent horses and a menagerie of starring animals is played out in front of an 8,000-seat amphitheatre known as the Tribune.
The world class show is brought to life with magnificent sets, mass choreography, combat, stunts, horsemanship, stunning pyrotechnics and amazing special effects, including water jets and state of the art video projections.
