The Glass House is a modern historic site in New Canaan, #Connecticut. Built between 1949 and 1995 by architect Philip Johnson, the 49-acre landscape comprises fourteen structures and features a permanent collection of 20th-century paintings and sculpture. The campus serves as a catalyst for the preservation and interpretation of modern #architecture, #art, and #design.
Visit the Glass House and 1949 Brick House by tour from April through December, alongside temporary exhibitions and public programs. Private tours are available throughout the year.
