This channel is devoted exclusively to extracting coherent musical phrases from VCV Rack and its associated free modules. I explore a variety of modules to create melodic structure, pitch, and harmonic cadence. In the first collection the videos are generally short, illustrating just a melody syncopating against a bass part and other voices; sometimes with drums. A latter group of videos will illustrate coherent musical pieces, or compositions. Though I'm not sure when that will happen. For now, I'm focusing on generating interesting and compelling melodic phrases that are coherent and recognizable from a selection of free modules continuously updated in VCV Rack.
