A gifted and versatile professional musician/entertainer, Steve has been deeply involved in music all his life. His father, Leo Sadd, was a well known drummer and Orchestra leader who performed on television, radio and in movies. Steve formally studied Clarinet, winning many awards and honors by the time he graduated High School. He has been performing professionally since he was a teenager on both bass and saxophone. He has toured Internationally and has performed with many groups and celebrity artists, playing (and singing) many styles - R&B, Jazz, Classic Rock, Latin, Country and Pop/Top 40. He's performed or recorded with such respected Jazz artists as Tom Garvin, Art Pepper, Jim Keltner, Thom Rotella, Roger Neumann, Rick Zunigar and Tom Peterson -and Rock and Roll legends such as Lloyd Price, Willie Chambers, The Four Preps, and other Country, Blues and R&B artists. He's been a voting member of N.A.R.A.S., the Grammy Awards Society, for over 30 years.
