All lyrics and music © Señor Barends. I create songs using every tool available to me, blending traditional songwriting with modern technology. Every piece begins with the human side of music: lyrics, melodies, structures, emotions, and ideas. Sometimes I compose or record parts myself, then expand them further using synthetic voices, virtual musicians, and AI-assisted production. My musical roots go back to the 1970s, playing drums in a local harmony band. In the 1990s MIDI opened new creative doors for composing, followed by years working with DAWs and learning guitar in the 2000s. Since 2024, AI has become part of my creative process, opening up entirely new possibilities in sound, arrangement, voices, and atmosphere. New songs appear here regularly. Thanks for listening!
