“Versatility is a buried treasure”, and for Lawrence Marcus Archambeault—known globally as XRTIST—the grind began long before the industry took notice. A true veteran of the craft, XRTIST recorded his first song in 2005 at the age of three, but released his debut single, 'Scene 4 (LMoney’s City),' at just nine years old in 2011 on soundcloud after 3 years of uploading youtube videos of him rapping. After a series of collaborative projects with Jinx Da Rebel, his strategic 2024 debut solo mixtape release (THIS MEANS WAR) was used to exit a restrictive contract, reclaiming his independence. His official debut studio album, the [originally] double-disc X: Two Roads to Redemption (2025), launched via Roc Nation Distribution, followed by his second studio album, THIS MEANS WAR II (2026), via Symphonic. As the architect of the 'THIS MEANS WAR' in what he describes as his “Tha Carter” saga, XRTIST remains a self-taught, independent force.
