This is not a place to “learn” English (or Spanish); it is a place to inhabit it. I am Dr. Steven Martz, a Cambridge examiner, and my objective is to treat you as what you are: a high-level user (C1/C2) who already commands complex thought.
On this channel, you will not see whiteboards or traditional grammar lessons. You will see cinematic episodes—such as the rooftops of Edinburgh or accounts of science and sport—narrated entirely in one language and then replicated in the other. My aim is to demonstrate that at this level, English and Spanish are practically mirror systems.
This isn’t a classroom; it is an immersive experience for the C1/C2 colleague. I work from the premise that, at the highest levels of proficiency, English and Spanish are almost identical.
