A teacher by profession, Ashfaque Ahmed loves to interact with children on which rests his foundation of simple story writing. His stories are socially relevant and speak volumes about people who are for real and talk about their lives, their struggles and their hardships. His works have inspired one and all, and that is well judged by the feedback children give after reading his books. Ahmed is a social butterfly and loves to participate in group activities; . His works have been broadcast time and again on Akashvani and Doordarshan. Not just that, Ahmed's writings are also published in foreign language newspapers, journals and magazines in their respective languages, needless to say, they are appreciated a lot in our country too.
