The battle is now with "The New Media" where it's even easier to put out false information. Conspiracy theories and lies are monetized. Large podcasts and ones just out to make money will say anything for views because it equals money. The New Media could end up being more dangerous then the legacy media ever was. We have independent podcasts who answer to no one. How do you stop them from spreading misinformation/disinformation and outright lies. The only thing we can do is call them out.
