Hereford Composers' Workshop (HCW) is an organisation that facilitates the performance by professional musicians of new music written by its members. HCW generally arrange 2 concerts a year for differing ensemble ranging from, for example, Wind Quintet to full Choirs. While many of the general public associate "new music" with some of more challenging works of avant-gardist and experimental composers, HCW members are praised by their audiences for the uplifting and lyrical music they produce.
