クリエイティブレーベルw.a.uのR&Bシンガー。 ダンサーとしての活動経験によって幼少期からATCQやMobb Deep、Soulquariansなどの90年代ヒップホップ/R&Bを中心に様々なブラックミュージックに影響を受ける。力が抜けつつも独特の太さを持った歌声を有しており、時にラップもこなすような高いポテンシャルも兼ね備える、日本では稀有な本格派R&Bシンガーである。
2023年の2月にリリースされた1st Album ʻYou Were Wrongʼ は各国のチャートの上位に入るなど、活動開始から1年未満のアーティストでは異例の反響があった。昨年リリースしたEP『A Million More』も高い評価を獲得し、5月に表参道WALL&WALLにて行われた初のワンマンライブもソールドアウトさせ、着々とその存在感を確かなものにしている。
Through her experience as a dancer, reina, an R&B artist from a creative collective called w.a.u, was influenced by various black music from her childhood, especially 90's hip-hop/R&B such as ATCQ, Mobb Deep, and Soulquarians. She is a rare R&B singer in Japan who has a unique, rich voice but relaxed and with yet distinctive quality, and also the ability to rap at times. Her songs which encompass all aspects of black music with a modern interpretation of R&B, have made her a remarkable artist to watch.
