Linda Smith Latimer also known as Firefly Studio, is an artist who creates paintings using mostly watercolors, as well as, acrylic paints, alcohol inks.
She is well known for her child and adult portraits, floral designs, landscapes. She is also an accomplished photographer.
One of the watercolor processes Linda excels at is referred to as Pouring Watercolors. Pouring is an advanced watercolor painting technique where portions of the design are created by pouring watercolor paints directly onto the paper. Linda demonstrates how to create watercolor paintings utilizing this technique, including stretching, preparing the paper, using masking techniques, preparing colors to be poured, pouring, and then painting the final details to complete the design.
