Musical artists from the historic Canal Zone of Panama. Raised with the best of THREE worlds: The culture, traditions and zest for life of Panama; the American influence due to the Panama Canal; the flavor of the Caribbean “Gold Coast”. Alex Reyes at 6 foot 4 and barely over 160 pounds soaking wet has always been teased as “Slim.” He is the driving force of the band and fills the roles of lead singer and guitarist on stage. David Seitz of more average height, but buffed build, comically chose "Shorty" as his stage name. He is the lead guitarist, background vocals, and the main straight act when the crazy bantering with Alex goes on in the songs. "Shorty and Slim“, or The SaS Band, started their act in 1990 and things have been going uphill ever since.
