Uncultivated Rabbits is the only spoken word / poetry organization at the University of California, Irvine. Founded in March of 2005, their mission is to facilitate an emergent student voice by creating a nurturing space where students can express and empower themselves through the written and spoken word. By the end of the 2013-2014 school year, this student organization will have performed at 40 different venues, hosted nine open mic nights, roughly 30 performance/writing workshops, six socials, and four showcases both on and off campus ranging in scale from 20+ to 100-200+ audience members. ** For performance requests and inquiries, please contact Uncultivated Rabbits at [email protected] **
