A 17 year old from the small-town of Grass Lake, Michigan, Brayden Lape was focusing his time on school and sports, leaving little time for his passion for music. It wasn’t until the pandemic that Brayden was able to spend
time performing his music for friends and family. This would be a turning point for his future. It was his mother who encouraged him to take a chance and audition for NBC’s The Voice. Fast forward to Brayden accomplishing
a Top 5 victory with the help and support of his fans and coach, Blake Shelton.
Music is now at the forefront of his life and Brayden recently released his debut single, “Hand It To Ya” written by Lape, fellow finalist Morgan Myles and musician Bill DiLuigi.
“As I pursue a career in music, I think believing in your dreams and putting in the hard work are important. My advice for others is: you don’t know unless you try! Do what your heart desires even if it seems out of reach!”
