Clutter, established in 2004, is a portal to the global subculture community of Designer Toys and Underground Art. From festivals to art openings to pop-up events, we have our finger on the pulse of this diverse and welcoming community. Our genesis was as the first English language physical magazine dedicated to Designer Toys. Born in the United Kingdom, we participated in many events, including the co-curation of Hasbro’s Action Man 40th anniversary celebrations. Clutter moved to NYC in 2009 and soon opened its home base the Clutter Gallery. Clutter works closely with international artists to curate original shows and releases. We have shown artists from afar afield as South Korea, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom & more. With openings every Second Saturday of the Month at our Physical location in historic art town Beacon, NY, home to the world-renowned DIA gallery, we are a destination for Designer Toy Lovers everywhere And yes, sometimes we still publish a magazine.
