Belize born/Brooklyn raised, and being mentored by hiphop influences such as King- Tee, Scotty D, and family Godston, Kenrick, Aziatic, and Damon (DLS), enriched J. Lewis’s passion for his music. Lew has also performed alongside various artists, which include: Elephant Man, Collie Buddz, Tanya Stephens, Wayne Wonder, Luciano, Beenie Man, Aziatic, Beres Hammond, and more. Decided to take a step back from his music, and serve his country for 8 years, 3 different wars, and totaling 3 years of overseas time including the middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Honorably discharged and is currently back on the music scene with audio engineering, and videography skills and also working on launching a brand “Chevo” with his cousin and business partner Carlos “ Los” Guity.
