Mournin’ All is a UK-based musical project on a mission to reclaim heavy political music. Born out of frustration with rampant corruption and cronyism, the band’s DIY ethos and unapologetic anonymity ensure the message remains front and centre. Blending metalcore’s crushing riffs, raw vocals, and incisive social commentary, their work challenges dangerous narratives, from austerity and war profiteering to the systemic failures that fuel hate.
Their debut self-titled EP, built around five powerful tracks including “Austerity Cull,” “Eighteen Weeks,” “Say It While You Can,” and the standout anti-war and antifascist anthems “Impassioned Fiction” and “All by Design” (featuring guest vocals from Jason Heightman of Chaos Reigns), has been crafted with an unwavering commitment to independent production. All tracks are self-produced and DIY, with final mastering by Robin Adams and creative visuals produced in-house by SCM Group.
