Boston House Music Dance DJs documentary—an untold story of how House and Hip-Hop music helped shape the Boston scene throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. This vibrant underground era is brought to life through archived party flyers, radio station cassette recordings, and VHS footage that capture the raw energy of the time. The film highlights influential DJs, promoters, and dancers—including Brothers from Another Planet Dancers, Madskills Dancers, The Circle Children Dancers, and the DJs who kept both House and Hip‑Hop culture thriving across New England’s clubs and studios. The pre‑cut version was selected for RoxFilm Festival in summer 2023. During that phase, we uncovered even more archival material—rare video clips, radio tapes, and flyers—that offered a deeper look into the scene. As a result, we expanded the project into a full final cut, which is now set for release in summer 2025.
