United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 1914 & is located downtown Cedar Rapids, IA. We serve Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Jones, & Linn counties. The workplace campaigns in those counties helped us raised over $10 million each year for the past six years allowing us to partner with around 40 community partners to meet our community's most critical needs: education, financial stability & health. By supporting UWECI, you provide parent education classes, child care, & give children opportunities they need to achieve their full potential. Your donation helps individuals become financial stable. UWECI funds many partner agencies that help people meet their basic needs & expenses; build work-related skills; & obtain secure employment. UWECI works to build a healthier community from birth to end of life & your contribution helps individuals who are battling drug addiction, & suffer from mental illness & chronic disease.
