OIM Records is an Oakland based record label run by promoter Sarah Sexton (Oaktown Indie Mayhem) and Producer Jeff Saltzman (The Killers, Blondie). The label began in 2015 with the help of co-founder Angelica Tavella (TV Heads, Oakland Drops Beats) after the trio joined forces to record & release OIM: Vol I, a compilation of Bay Area artists. Since then the label has released several full length records by local favorites, along with their second Bay Area compilation, OIM: Vol II. Even now, as the world rages forward through what have become often isolating and tumultuous times, OIM continues to create opportunities for artists to share their art with the world and make all of our days just a little bit brighter. Art continues to be made, and to heal as well. So friends, this is all of our melodrama. Let’s just try to have a little fun.
