Alfa Prog is a rock/metal progressive project founded in 2018 by Fabrizio Felici and Alessandro Esposito “A.l.e.x.”, former members of Semi Infermità Mentale and Emisferi Paralleli (Sul riso e la follia, 2006; Il giardino delle delizie, 2012). Their influences and styles are mixed in the first concept album, “A dreamsophical journey”, freely inspired by the movie “Waking Life” (Richard Linklater, 2001). The songs represent a musical journey within lucid dreams: the protagonist lives an ethereal existence, where he is involved in philosophical discussions about evolution, progress, free will, and human constraints.
