Saints in Exile is a rap/rock band from Staten Island, NY, consisting of three friends and band leaders who were peers in local bands for nearly 20 years before joining forces. Their sound consists of rock, hip-hop, pop, and emo influences as they aren’t tied down to a certain style. If they could think of it, they do it.
The name comes from the displacement of God’s people in today’s society or separation of good in favor of evil.
Collectively, they’ve played hundreds of shows, written hundreds of songs, and toured almost the entire North East Coast, gaining their 10,000 hours of music mastery. The three members, Justin Sarachik, Michael Giordano, and Manny Mavrakis, all come from popular local bands in which they were the leaders of. Justin focuses on lyrics, sound, and marketing, while Michael handles the melodies, songwriting, and musical composition. Manny provides the backbone and the feel on the drums while sneaking in some background vocals.
