Raccoon Point Studios is a working recording studio in Westover, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore. We track through an API 1608 in a live room with real acoustics, and we make videos about what we learn doing it. Mostly that means gear. Guitar pedals, mics, preamps, plugins, consoles. We buy it, we put it on real sessions, and we tell you what held up. Sometimes the answer is that the expensive thing wasn't worth it. We say that too. We shoot music videos here as well, so there's camera and lighting gear in the mix.
