Market Street Station was formed in 2021 on an out-of-service Muni train from the fumes of urban escapism and San Francisco fog. The duo, composed of Garrett and Dar, makes music to inspire the City’s weary commuters to break free of the rat race. MS2’s queer identities inform their lyrics and themes, and their influences range from classic rock to folk, funk, and punk.
