To craft "A place in the sun", they collaborated with a rowdy group of songwriters and esoteric daydreamers, including South Carolina rapper Saraph Sunman, singers Benjamin Siksou and Patrón Data (Patrón) on backing vocals, and their old DC-based comrade Dearmac.
Since their debut album (Street Corner Fairytale - Magazine Records), 99lbs have been busy gigging and writing new songs. Their new album "A Place in the Sun" was released on August 8th 2023.
