"Thanks for joining us on our Pledge Music adventure and being part of the recording of a new album, 'The Sound of You.' It's a lyrical album rooted in jazz with a sound stretching from Chicago to Johannesburg back to New York and London -- A collection of Timeless Classic Songs sung by singer/piano player Estelle Kokot and written by award winning songwriters Chico Freeman and Jan Pulsford. We want to record the album in South Africa, to mix the heritage of Estelle with the roots of Chico's African American jazz and a dash of British -Tennessee from Jan, bringing together styles and cultures to make the Sound of You and yOu and yoU!
